ABOUT ILLINOIS WIDOWS SONS - KINSMAN REDEEMERS
The Illinois Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association is open to all Free Masons under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge Of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of the State of Illinois who enjoy the sport of motorcycling and have a desire to ride with and associate with their fraternal brothers. We currently have 26 chapters in the state.
Our goal is to:
1. Contribute to the relief of Widows & Orphans of Master Masons
2. Raise Masonic Awareness in the world of motorcycling
3. Introduce the sport of motorcycling to our Masonic Brothers.
Each Widows Sons chapter sponsors or participates in local charity runs or events. In all cases, we strive to present a positive image of Freemasonry and our Association to the public.
The Kinsman Redeemer Chapter helps organize Kegel Harley-Davidson's Annual Toys for Tots Run. They have also volunteered for Hogs and Dogs to raise money for the Children's Dyslexia Center for Northwest Illinois. Recently they have donated items to struggling families in the area to help off-set the effects of catastrophic events.
