Milwaukee, Aug. 11 - Presaging what promising to be the greatest year known to the motorcycle industry, the very newest models of the Harley-Davidson line of motorcycles were unveiled here recently at a luncheon of dealers from all parts of the United States.

The wave of favorable comment which swept through the gathering as the "45," the newest member of the Harley-Davidson family, was introduced, indicates that this model will have a widespread appeal both with previous riders as well as new.

One of the most marked advancements to be seen on the entire 1929 Harley-Davidson line is the pair of bullet type headlights which more than double the lighting facilities.

Unusual quietness is characteristic of all 1929 models of the Harley-Davidson line. A new and greatly improved muffler dispels the exhaust gases in such a manner that the exhaust noises ordinarily present are practically eradicated.

The Harley-Davidson line of standard models for 1929 include the Big Twins in both 74 and 61 cubic inch sizes, the 45 middleweight twin and the famous single.

J.E. Kegel, local Harley-Davidson dealer, has placed the latest 1929 models on display at his salesrooms, 118 North Madison street, where they have been attracting considerable attention during the past week.
