On this day in 1954, it was reported in the Rockford Morning Star that Julius took off on a 900 mile ride!

Recently the @stephensoncountygenealogicalsociety asked "How did your ancestors celebrate the 4th of July in Freeport?" and shared several notable dates in their post, including how in 1920 "Motorcycle races under the direction of Joseph Kegel will be held at Taylor Park on July 4th."
